Hi, I’m Cait.

In 2018, I packed my bags, left my job as a reporter, and ventured out to southern Thailand. Since then, I’ve worked as an English teacher and traveled throughout Asia.

It was one of the best decisions I’ve made. But while teaching has been a valuable experience, I want to focus on the one thing that I loved about being a reporter – getting out of the office and exploring.

I was a news reporter for the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, Massachusetts. I covered anything and everything from city elections to breaking news.

I’ve held internships at the Richmond Times-Dispatch in Virginia and Sarasota Herald-Tribune in Florida. I’ve been published in the Tampa Bay Times, Tampa Tribune and Associated Press. I also interned at the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida on an online magazine project.

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media studies from University of South Florida St. Petersburg in 2016. During my time there, I worked as managing editor of the student newspaper as well as the arts and life assistant editor and a weekly contributor.
